Natalie Schreter, LCSW

Natalie Schreter, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and private psychotherapist with extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness, infertility, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and life transitions.

Prior to co-founding Hudson Mental Health, Natalie was a member of the multidisciplinary Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation Program at Mount Sinai Hospital. In this role, she provided psychotherapy, supportive counseling, and crisis intervention to patients and families coping with hematologic malignancies while undergoing autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation. Her clinical work focused on supporting those facing chronic illness, end-of-life concerns, and bereavement with compassion and clarity.

Natalie serves on the board of the Bone Marrow Foundation, where she leads monthly meetings and remains actively involved in initiatives and events throughout New York City.

She earned her postgraduate master’s degree from Adelphi University and completed a postgraduate fellowship at Harlem Hospital in the Department of Pediatrics, working in the General Pediatrics Unit, Pediatric ICU, and Pediatric Burn ICU. She also contributed as a research assistant to the publication of a 2012 study examining the impact of 9/11 on Muslim veterans.

Natalie completed advanced clinical training in couples and family therapy at the Ackerman Institute for the Family and is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with specialized focus on anxiety disorders and cancer-related stress. She is also certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Narrative Therapy.

Her comprehensive training across multiple modalities allows her to thoughtfully tailor treatment to each individual’s needs, integrating evidence-based approaches with deep relational and emotional attunement.

Natalie maintains private practice offices in Manhattan and Dobbs Ferry, Westchester.
